CAIPS is an abbreviation used by Citizenship and Immigration of Canada (CIC), for Computer Aid Immigration Processing System. For immigration process it is used to standardize, store and expedite cases. CAIPS file is the hard copy (print) of CAIPS, CanQuest requests that from CIC for you. CAIPS file contains lots of useful information and is very useful in many instances. e-client service on CIC's website provides only little information regarding immigration application. In most cases, there is a very small and simple message like "Your application received", "process started on your application" or something like that. Where else, there is much more than this to know. In some cases applicants' concerns are:
If application and complete documents are already received by CIC ?
What document is currently required to submit ?
When is medical examination expected and when would the form arrive ?
What are most recent comments / notes / remarks on any application ?
Where do I apply to get my CAIPS, if I my visa post is Islamabad / London / Damascus or Colombo ?
What next, if there is recent note marked ? etc.
All of these are not available on CIC's e-client service, we can help to find out for you, with your consent. Upon your request, we obtain your CAIPS file from CIC. There is a small administration fee, you can have your CAIPS file in short time.
